Roger Taylor needs no introduction. Best known as Duran Duran`s longtime drummer, some may be surprised to know that his career as a DJ began over a decade ago.

While on hiatus from Duran Duran in the early 90`s, Roger and fellow musician Jake Fonique teamed up to produce music and began DJ`ing together. They released a succession of underground dance records, culminating with "Love Is Like Oxygen," which was a Top 10 hit on the U.K. dance charts.

In 2008 Roger played a massive 4 hour set in Ibiza at the legendary superclub Pacha.

For the past few years, Roger & Jake have enjoyed a residency at London`s celebrity hot spot The Met Bar, and behind the decks at London`s most fashionable hangouts.

Playing a mixture of up-to-the-minute House and even a bit of 80s Electro, Roger and Jake always deliver scintillating seamless sets that keep the dance floors pumping. On the special occasion, lucky fans will get to see a live element incorporated into a performance with Roger jamming on his Roland SPD electronic drum kit.

Frequent trips to Ibiza, over the years have also cemented Roger`s love for dance music. Hearing DJ superstars such as Frankie Knuckles, Carl Cox, and Danny Tenaglia, left resounding effects on the music that shapes his sets today.

As an original member of Duran Duran, Roger is an integral part of the 70+ million records sold, 18 American hit singles & 30 UK Top 30 tunes.

His passion for electronica plays a key role on Duran Duran`s last album, Red Carpet Massacre, and currently Roger is in the studio with the prodigious Mark Ronson working on a new album slated for 2010.

If Roger`s success as a drummer with Duran Duran is any indication of what is in store for us when he hits the decks, dance floor revelers all over the world are in for an enviable experience!
